MAP: DAY GIVES OF NAVARRE

The map of the castles of Navarre that one is going to present on December 3 is the result of many years of investigation(research) that gave place to the publication of the books: Navarre. Castles that defended the kingdom.

To expose this work in a map is a complicated labor since it has been realized on aged parchment and using medieval engravings: castles, figures and letters that have been extracted of the documents medieval and placed in the map to set the work.

THE drawing of the castle is realized by a notary in the 14th century. Everything makes his(her,your) sense and one seeks to imitate a plane like it a man had realized of then.

With the map and of a stroke of the pen, we announce the extension of the old kingdom, of the effort to defend it with so much(many) castle and understanding the importance of the strengths(fortresses) for the Navarrese ones.An alone vision will take us to places like the coasts of Cantabria, Biscay, Gipuzkoa, There was Ploughing, Rioja, Bureba, Merindades of Burgos, Sobrarbe, Aragon, Ribagorza, It(He,She) lowers Navarre, Bearne, etc.
